ACE!

Holy hottie batman!! Ace Young (former American Idol finalist) was the celebrity my company sponsored (thanks to my fabulous marketing :-) at the Griffins game on January 27th. Ace sang The game was a sell out and lots of fun. Super nice guy, great with the kids and hello... could he be cuter! He sang his new song "Scattered" and "Dream On" by Aerosmith. Great time... until we had to leave because Abbey got a 103.5 temperature in the 2nd period! Ughh!!! Such my life.

Scooter's Tail Holder

Hello! It's official... this cat only loves men! Scooter only snuggles Steve (after the girls go to bed) and acts like he wants to bite the sisters! But, the baby boy holds on to his tail and he just sits there while he pulls on it and tries to put it in his mouth. He just knows his "kind" in this house full of women. Of course, I think it's cute so another reason for a photo shoot!

Crazy Cousins

My Aunt Verna & Uncle Jerry had a gathering before the holidays and me and my sister and all our cousins (5 are missing) from my Mom's side are in this photo. What a crazy bunch! I love hanging out with them! (which isn't very often) There is never a lack of laughter.

Heisman Embarassment

So... I think I can get my Dad the perfect Christmas gift when I met Billy Sims in November. I have him sign an autograph "To Doug" and then ask him to take a photo with me. At some point I asked him to do the Heisman pose and he said "only if you do it too". Well... anyone that knows me well knows that I am no sports buff (sorry Steve! and Dad!) so he had to show me how to do the pose and I still messed it up! I call this the space version of the Heisman. What a huge dork I am! My Dad thought it was funny when I gave it to him on Christmas though!
